Mackay Orchid Extravaganza 2023

If you are an orchid lover, we hope you didn’t miss the Mackay Orchid Extravaganza at Queens Park on Saturday, September 16.  Check out some of the amazing photos.

A colourful and diverse range of orchids were on display in the Ken Burgess Orchid House, along with orchid sales, demonstrations, plant and accessory sales and raffles were held. Over 1000 people admired the orchids and other foliage plants throughout the day.

Just in case you missed out on the event, here are just a few photos taken on the day of the event and some special close ups beautifully captured by our local Photo Walkabout Group who visited the Orchid House following the event.
