We are 10 years old in 2013

Celebrations include a huge variety of events throughout the year.

The Gardens were officially opened on May 24, 2003. Rather than have just one birthday function, the Gardens will have a huge variety of events throughout the year to help us celebrate.

Events that have occured so far.. include a children’s book launch, a birthday party for ten year olds and unveiling of interpretative signs and Displays and Guided Walks showing the Botanic Garden’s growth from 2003 till 2013. Still to come are a BOTANICA calendar 2014 launch in August and Threatened Species Day Guided walk in September.

Image featured on the news page shows an early view of the Cafe on the Lagoon. Nowadays ,the view of the building is nearly obscured by plants that have had remarkable growth in ten years.
