Help us celebrate with a huge variety of events throughout the year.

The Gardens were officially opened on May 24, 2003. Rather than have just one birthday function, the Gardens will be a huge variety of events throughout the year to help us celebrate.

These events will include a children’s book launch, a birthday party for ten year olds, ‘Growing’ competitions, Threatened Species Day, photo competition, unveiling of interpretative signs and Guided Walks showing the Botanic Garden’s growth from 2003 till 2013.

Image featured on the news page shows an early view of the Cafe on the Lagoon. The view of the building is nearly obscured by plants that have had remarkable growth in ten years.
