Moments in Time Exhibition

The “Moments in Time” Exhibition, is intended to show snap shots of how lives were lived, and the events that influenced people, from the opening of the Mackay Harbour in 1939, to the visit of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip in 1954, cyclones, floods and family days out. These photographs serve to remind us of the strength and resilience of people then as now, and the pioneering spirit that shaped our city.
The photographs / exhibition are from Mackay Regional Council’s Local History collection and Artspace.
Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens Lagoons Gallery which is open Wednesday to Sunday 9am - 4pm.
