Fun with Timber is a creative and fun display of wood carvings created by Kevin McNamara. Kevin is self taught and also a member of the Mackay Woodturners.

Whist travelling in his caravan, Kevin enjoys sketching a diversity of different subjects; buildings, streetscapes, people and wildlife. At home, his sketches come to life in his wood carvings, as you can see as part of this exhibition.

Kevin works with a range of timbers; Milky Pine, Huon Pine, Red Cedar and Mackay Cedar which you can see on display. All pieces are for display only.
