World Ranger Day Exhibition 2015

Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens Lagoons Gallery
Until Sunday, August 2

Come and take a walk on the wild side to view places and creatures depicted by those who are wild about protecting them.

Walks on the wild side have provided inspiration to Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services' rangers as they paint, print and photograph the amazing natural world, highlighting the diversity of the places they encounter.

The exhibition is an opportunity for the community to assist Rangers to help Rangers worldwide through the Thin Green Line Foundation. The Thin Green Line Foundation provides financial assistance to the families of Rangers who have lost their lives protecting the natural environment all over the world.

An auction of all the artworks will take place in the Lagoons Gallery on August 1.
6.00pm - Meet and mingle with the artists and choose your favourite artworks.
7.00pm - Auction begins.
