“Wildlife in the Gardens” for Small Explorers

These sessions for small children are proving to be VERY Popular!

The Small Explorers sessions, which includes story reading, information books, displays of creatures, leaf or seeds, artistic activities and a small walk in the Botanic Gardens have grown too big for their garden beds!

More than 25 children attended the Monday’s 17th March session "Wildlife in the Gardens". However, Maya Harrison,  Botanic Gardens Visitors Services Officer, suggested during the morning's session that if there is a group of parents with a collection of small children who want a more intimate and relaxed encounter with the Botanic Gardens, then call her and organise another 'Small Explorers' session time suitable for you and her.
The next Small Explorers session will be Monday 28th April and is titled "LEAF HUNTS". Make sure you book early.

Small Explorers sessions are fun and educational opportunities for toddlers and kindergarten aged children 18 months to 5 years held monthly or by appointment.
