May 22nd is the International Day for Biological Diversity.

What is Biodiversity?
Biodiversity is the variety of all living things; the different plants, animals and microorganisms in existence, the genetic information they contain and the ecosystems they form. Biodiversity also encompasses diversity within species, between species and of ecosystems.

Why are we late?

At 10.00am we will be having a "Happy Birthday Morning Tea" for the Botanic Gardens; 12 years old. We will be unwrapping a SURPRISE birthday present from the Friends of the Gardens. You are welcome to join us, but please RSVP so we have enough Cake!
