"This Wonderful World" An exhibition by Robyn Gray

View this exhibition at Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens Lagoons Gallery open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am - 4pm. On show March 6 – March 31, 2013 .

Robyn was born in a small inland dairy farming town in New Zealand. From a very young age she has always drawn and painted including pencil sketching, pen and wash, oils, acrylics and finally pastels.

Living around Auckland’s east coast bays and spending many years sailing round the coast allowed Robyn to capture the beautiful land and seascapes in her art. Also, her great love of animals and wild life.

These paintings were shown at exhibitions in Auckland and the North Shore.

Robyn worked as a veterinary nurse in New Zealand, then antique dealer and RSPCA Volunteer Education Officer at the local Mackay schools.

She is now retired here in Mackay and can work full time at her art.

Robyn has recently won three art awards in various art competitions.

Being a realist painter, her love of the bush, the sea, the animals and birds in this wonderful world shines through in her work.
