"Selection of the Collection"

The Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens has a wide range of ‘Art Works’ that have been either donated by or acquired from past Exhibition Artists…
The current exhibition showcases some of those artists and the mediums they have used.
Megan Lane uses Pen and Ink to depict the delicate lines of orchids, where as Lewis Roberts uses water colours to demonstrate the botanical features of his orchids.
Irene Coburn’s Inkjet Digital Photographic prints show the fine details of often overlooked botanical specimens while Ann Williams – Fitzgerald’s coloured photographic prints add a splash of colour to the collection.

The “Selection of the Collection Exhibition” is available for viewing in the Lagoon’s Café and Gallery from Wednesday January 13th to Sunday January 31st.
Opening hours for the Lagoon’s gallery are Wednesday to Friday 10am – 3pm and Weekends 9am to 4pm.
Entry is free to all. Browse the collection and stay for a coffee in air conditioned comfort.
