Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens are Award Winners

Following the Judging of the Inclusive Community Champion ( ICC ) Awards 2012, the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens were advised they were a winner.

Many of the Spinal Injuries Association members, who have a spinal cord Injury, put forward nominations for the ICC Awards and chose the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens in the Best Tourism Award category.

Cr. Theresa Morgan attended the Inclusive Community Champion Awards presentation on Friday, 9 November at the Reception Room, Sir Albert Abbott Administration Building and accepted the award of behalf of the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens and Cr.Deirdre Comerford, Mayor; Mackay Regional Council.
