The Festive Season brings changes to opening and closing times

The Botanic Gardens are open to the community all day everyday (excluding the Tropical Shade Garden which is closed when Administration staff are not in attendance).

The Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens Administration and The Garden’s Shop are closed during the Christmas period from 12noon on December, Friday 21 – reopening on January, Wednesday 2 at 9am.

‘The Cafe and Restaurant on the Lagoon’ and Lagoons Gallery will be closed Monday, December 24 – reopening on Wednesday January 2.

The Cafe on the Lagoon opening hours are Wednesday - Sunday 9.00am – 4.00pm

The Restuarant on the Lagoon opening hours are Thursday - Saturday 6.30pm onwards BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL. Phone: 49 524966.
