Festive season closures.

The Botanic Gardens are open to the community all day every day...
(excluding the Tropical Shade Garden which is closed when Administration staff are not in attendance)

The Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens Administration, The Garden's Shop and the Tropical Shade Garden are closed for a few days during the Christmas period... On the days the Botanic Garden's Administration is open, there a small number of staff in attendance. You may find the building closed at times as staff may be out on the grounds. Thank you for your patience.
Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the following weekend (25th -28th December 2014) also New Year's Day (January 1st 2015)

Lagoons Cafe and Gallery are also closed during the festive season…
Closed From Monday 22nd December – reopening on Wednesday 7th January 2014.
