“Earthly Creations” Special Free Friday Guided Walk:
Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens… Friday July 13th 9.30am – 11.00am
Join Maya and visit the Lagoons Gallery to view the “Earthly Creations” Exhibition displaying works by Jenny de Thomasis, an ephemeral artist, Lalune Croker, a sculptural ceramicist, and weaver Pam Hutley and then be lead down the Garden’s paths to see other artistic elements within the Garden’s design during your informative stroll through the picturesque Botanic Gardens. Participants may even wish to join in creating or adding to ephemeral sculptural works in natural materials and found objects being created in the Tropical Shade Garden or just view what has been created.
‘Earthly Creations’ compliments Mackay’s Festival of Arts “Earthly Delights” 7th – 22nd July.
