"Diversity in Nature" Special Free Friday Guided Walk:

Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens…Friday, August 9th:  9.30am – 11.00am.

Join Maya and Margaret Lane and be lead down the Botanic Gardens' paths to see a variety of plants which are featured in the current exhibition in the Lagoons Gallery and growing in the Botanic Gardens.
These plants are special to our local region and some are 'threatened in the wild' species.
Margaret Lane and Chris Neely are the curators of the exhibition.

Find out why these plants are so special to the Botanic Gardens and maybe you would like to grow some of them too.


Let us know if you wish to come along by contacting the Botanic Gardens and booking the date with us or meet us at the Administration Building / The Garden’s Shop just before 9.30am.
