Help us plant 1,000 plants! That’s a hundred plants for each of our ten years

Postponed to May 4, 2013 due to wet weather conditions
Half the bank planned for planting on April 13th was underwater due to recent rainfall. .

The Garden Friends will be planting in the Meadowlands section of the Botanic Gardens at their second Planting Bee on Saturday, May 4.

Park in the parking area off Alexandra Street and meet at the Meadowlands Ampi-theatre at 8.30am.

Remember to wear covered-in shoes and slip, slop, slap. Morning tea will be provided and everyone is welcome.

This is a great opportunity to come along and be part of the further development of the Botanic Gardens as we aim to plant 1,000 Lomandra plants as well as a few other varieties.

Planting Bees offer all budding green thumbs a chance to get their hands dirty and help the Gardens extend their plant collection.

For those new to the Botanic Gardens planting bees, please be there at 8.30am for an essential small induction/guide to planting.
